The challenge
A high-stakes commercial arbitration between a Chinese plaintiff and an EU-based defendant required ongoing translation of evidence, witness statements, and expert reports between Chinese, English and German over the course of nine months.
Our approach
Assigned a single translator-reviser pair per language pair to maintain terminological consistency across thousands of pages. Built a shared bilingual glossary with the legal team. Provided simultaneous interpretation at the in-person hearings.
The outcome
Award favourable to our client. Subsequent referral to two more law firms in the same arbitration network.
